The Humanistic/Integrative Perspective
All the work I do either with individuals or with groups is based in the Humanistic/Integrative tradition. This simply means that I hold the belief that each and everyone of us has the potential to make the changes we might deem neccessary, given the right circumstances. I draw from a lot of different approaches to therapy in order to design the sessions to optimise each persons growth and development.

PSYCHOTHERAPY & COUNSELLING
These are commonly known as the talking cures. In counselling you would seek to work with a specific issue e.g. abuse, bereavement, depression. Whereas in psychotherapy you would seek to look at the various patterns in your life which are causing deep distress. |

HYPNOTHERAPY
Hypnotherapy is not in and of itself a type of therapy. Through hypnosis the therapist will use skills and abilities drawn from various therapeutic traditions to help you make changes in your life. It is usually a very deeply relaxing experience and has a wide range of advantages. |

GOAL COACHING
Goal Coaching is s very focused form of intervention. A person would present with a specific goal they are having trouble reaching and through the identification of issues, challenges and most importantly untapped resources (both internal and external) would be coached towards the realisation of the goal. |
